Lakes Yurts offer glamping holidays in the heart of the Lake District. Choose from the following yurts:
Erdene (pictured) – Available for 2 adults on a self-catering basis, this luxurious and authentic Mongolian yurt is situated in the heart of Keswick in the Lake District.
Inside the yurt there is a superior 5 ft bed, a chest of drawers, fitted carpet and sheepskin rugs and electricity which runs bedside lamps and oil filled heater. Egyptian cotton bedding and thick towels are provided.
The yurt comes with its own private shower room and a cosy well insulated “shed” (pictured) for dining in, with basic cooking facilities, chaise longue and dvd player with library of dvds. Ground coffee, tea and biscuits are included.
Outside there is a lovely area to sit and enjoy the view, and a garaged parking space for one car.
Altan and Saran – Two more luxurious Mongolian yurts situated on a tranquil National Trust campsite in the stunning scenery of the Borrowdale Valley.
They sit at the foot of the most spectacular lakeland fells and the River Derwent runs through the campsite as a stream.
Both yurts are furnished to a very high standard and have a double bed and two single day beds, wood burning stoves, fully equipped kitchen area and dining area, rugs and hangings.
Good quality bedding and towels are provided as are ground coffee, tea and biscuits.
Outside are decked areas with barbeques to sit and enjoy the lovely setting.
Toilets with washing facilities are next door and hot showers are a 3 minute walk away at the farm.
Parking available next to the yurts.
