Description of Under the Milky Way
Our lovely bell tents and shepherd hut are well spaced out to maximise privacy and set in a beautiful rural location, 2 miles from the seaside village of Combe Martin in North Devon.
Each of our three glamping tents and one shepherd hut has a cosy wood burning stove and comfy beds (adult doubles), airbeds for the kids, rugs, cushions, candles and solar fairy lights.
The tents and shepherd hut are fully equipped with all the cooking kit you need, along with a camping gas cooker, barbeque, cold box, tables and chairs.
Tariff 1 includes bedding and towels.
Tariff 2 doesn’t include any bedding or towels. For both tariffs wood is supplied for the wood burner for the first night only, more is available to buy.
Campfires are encouraged as we believe they are an essential part of the camping experience.
A large sink is available for washing up etc, and there is a power point for charging phones or laptops if you must.
We have four wet room showers and toilets with under floor heating.
Each bell tent and shepherd hut has its own private loo so you can just leave your toothbrush there for your stay (you still have to walk across a small field to get there, it is camping after all).
We are sandwiched between the fantastic North Devon Heritage Coast with its fabulous beaches and the wild walks and scenery of Exmoor National Park.
There is plenty to do here with loads of outdoor activities such as surfing at Croyde or Woolacombe, horse riding, fishing and walking.
The wildlife park in Combe Martin along with Watermouth Castle is great for kids and the local beaches are safe and lifeguarded with loads of rock pools to explore at low tide.
