Description of Low Greenside Farm
A comfortable self-catering base from which to explore our beautiful countryside; the tranquil setting for a restful break in a lovely location; and the perfect answer if you love canvas and campfires but your family prefers real beds!
Our yurt is a delightful place for a glamping holiday or short break.
This is a lovely area for walking & cycling, varied, unspoiled and remarkably undiscovered.
Use our complimentary booklet ‘Nine Great Walks from Low Greenside’ to explore from the yurt doorstep.
End your day at one of the 2 excellent village pubs, just 10 minutes walk from the yurt.
Excellent access to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales – but none of the hustle and bustle!
The yurt is beautifully furnished with vintage & handmade oak furniture, 5kW wood burning stove, tongue and groove wood floor, thick wool carpet, comfy beds, and a lovely tranquil atmosphere.
It has its own fully equipped private camp kitchen, private composting toilet, campfire and BBQ cooking equipment.
The yurt sits in its own 3 acre meadow with a small native woodland behind, so you have lots of space to play.
The views of the fells and fields are lovely (the view from your bed is superb!).
We’ve given a great deal of thought to what our guests will enjoy about a holiday in our new yurt and it’s been fun making the whole thing comfy, beautiful, practical, and a delight to stay in. (We know it’s good because we’ve tried and tested it ourselves!)
