Timber camping cabins surrounded by farmland in the northernmost of the Yorkshire Dales, Teesdale.
Hillcrest Park is our rural, 6 acre, holiday park in Teesdale. Surrounded by farmland, it offers peace, tranquillity and beautiful views in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Our main ‘poddery’ area is designated as adults only ensuring that whether it is school holidays or not, you needn’t worry about little ones (sorry, little ones, but sometimes the grown ups need a bit of me-time!) Although the ‘poddery’ is adults only, this does not mean there will be no other children on the site, as we also offer other accommodation. However, the ‘poddery’ is in a separate area which no other visitors should access. This area of the site offers wonderful views of beautiful Teesdale, so you can sit on your deck with a relaxing glass of something delicious and take in the sunset – in peace and quiet!
We are ideal for walkers, cyclists and dog owners and are close to Richmond, Barnard Castle, High Force Waterfall, Raby Castle and a host of other Dales attractions.
Many years ago, Hillcrest was a working farm, but the outbuildings have been converted into Holiday Cottages, we have 20 hardstanding pitches which are used for seasonal caravans, 10 camping pods - 8 of which are in an adults only area - and holiday lodges for sale.
Most importantly, we aim to offer all our guests a comfortable, get-away-from-it all, rural retreat.
Staying in a camping pod is very much a camping experience - only easier! - so bring all your camping kit with you. We do, however, hire out airbeds and there is a communal campers' kitchen onsite with kettles, toasters, microwaves, hotplates and a fridge/freezer.
The owner does not have a video of their glamping site.
The small pod sleeps 2 adults and one child and the price varies between £30 and £50 per night. The family pod sleeps 2 adults and 3 children and the price varies between £40 and £60 per night. Dogs are included in the price, as is use of all the onsite facilities including the communal kitchen.
There are no refunds for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to arrival or for late arrivals or early departures.
