Description of Rushall Organics
You’d never know it from the interiors, but the shepherd’s huts at Rushall Organics have been here for over 100 years.
Longer, in fact, than the Wookey family who have been farming here for four generations.
The original framework is all still intact, newly painted in light, natural colours that mirror your surroundings, while inside all is light and space-efficient, with a double bed and two bunks that elegantly fold up into comfy seating in the daytime.
The huts are fully plumbed in with a handy butler sink, and added modern comforts include electric spotlights and a fridge, powered by solar panels on the roof, as well as a gas-powered oven.
The private compost loo and outdoor, gas-powered shower are just a few steps away.
Angler or not, you’ll find it easy to relax on this beautiful stretch of the River Avon. As the name suggests, you’re in the perfect location for a spot of fly fishing.
With its own river frontage you can relax whilst listening to the flowing clear waters of the river, and watch the natural world pass you by, in the heart of this organic farm.
The huts can sleep up to four people comfortably each plus availability for a tent, and with plenty of local attractions and places to eat there’s fun for all the family.
So close to the Alton Barnes White Horse, there is a lot to see and do when you stay at Rushall Organics.
Or alternatively just relax and enjoy one of Wiltshire’s great spots, to forget about your worries and your strife.
