Description of The Yurt Farm
Yurts and a train carriage on an organic farm in West Wales, between the Cambrian Mountains and the beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay.
Laurie, Thea, Mossy, Wren and Sylvan invite you to come and stay in a yurt or train carriage on a working organic family farm in West Wales.
Enjoy a relaxing glamping holiday in one of our four locally made, warm, spacious yurts in a beautiful wildflower hay meadow.
Or why not try our beautifully snug Train Carriage. Laurie has converted the carriage using local timber, sheepswool insulation and a sedum turf roof. It is unique!
Wake up to the sound of birdsong and your kettle whistling on a wood-burning stove.
Watch red kites soar over the Cambrian Mountains.
Visit our gentle Hereford herd, collect eggs from the hens that cluck around the yurt field, and scratch the pigs that live in the field nearby.
Explore country lanes, walk in the hills, and take refreshing swims off the stunning beaches of Cardigan Bay.
Return to the delicious smells of organic meat and vegetables from the farm shop cooking over the campfire.
Fall asleep on organic cotton sheets and duvets watching stars through the yurt wheel.
