One of the UK's first ever glamping sites, Strawberry Skys is a relaxed friendly site with four unique glamping units and lots of space set in the fabulous rolling hills of Mid-Wales.

Strawberry Skys Yurts is the perfect place to relax and unwind in one of the most beautiful parts of Wales. We have a tranquil, peaceful setting that has everything you need for a unique, magical, glamping experience in Wales. While here you can spend uninterrupted, quality time with family and loved ones. Explore everything that Mid and North Wales has to offer then spend an evening under the stars, chatting around the campfire and toasting marshmallows. The next morning, you can wake to beautiful, unspoilt natural scenery and a quiet tranquility broken only by birdsong.

Whether you're looking for a romantic glamping retreat in a secluded, idyllic hideaway, or a fun, family getaway with a large open space for children to explore, a holiday at Strawberry Skys Yurts is an exciting and unique experience that will stay with you long after you have returned home. Many of our customers return again and again to get their fix of fun, relaxation and quality together-time.

We have four units on site, two traditional hand painted yurts Cherry and Oak. Oak is a double yurt formed by joining two yurts together. And two hand crafted wooden yurts/cabins, Ash and Cedar. At Strawberry Skys you will never feel cramped or hurried as there is plenty of space. Simply relax enjoy your holiday at your own pace. Children can roam free, exploring their natural surroundings, or brush up on their outdoor survival skills, gathering wood, building campfires or rustling up an alfresco feast with the onsite pizza oven. If you want to venture out we are ideally positioned for you explore all that mid wales has to offer. There's a wealth of family-friendly activities to experience including cycling, kayaking, narrow gauge railways, canal boat trips, sea side and mountains, as well as plenty of excellent pubs, restaurants and shops in the nearby market towns and villages.

Each yurt has electricity and its own private shower and toilet facilities. Wood for the fire pits outside can be collected at no additional charge. Guests also have free use of the wood-fired pizza oven through out their stay. And for anyone wanting to try their hand at some campfire cooking guests can rent out a full campfire cookware kit with cooking tripod, and cast iron pans. There are tree swings for the kids and plenty of space for families and groups to play games.

Strawberry Skys has excellent facilities. Each yurt/cabin has its own "heated" modern eco bathroom with hot showers, eco toilet, a heated towel rail and even a hair dryer. The newly fitted out kitchen has everything you need including two gas hobs and a full size electric oven. Guests have their own fridge and cupboard with all the crockery, cutlery, pots, pans etc they should need. Outside the kitchen there is a fantastic covered dinning area which leads to the patio and pizza oven.

When you book you are given access to their digital guide book which has plenty of suggested days out whether is a hike up to the top of a waterfall or a relaxing ride on the local steam train, there's something for everyone here.

Notes about prices

We offer a minimum 2 night stay during our low season with prices starting at £90 per night. During our high season (bank holiday weekends and summer holidays) we offer either 3 night weekend stays or 4 nights mid-week. A damage deposit of £75 is required for all bookings. No hidden charges, all firewood for the woodburner and campfire is included.

Cancellation policy

A £50 non-refundable deposit is taken at time of booking with the balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. Changes cannot be made to dates within 6 weeks of arrival though we will endeavour to re-sell dates for you if at all possible.
