About Medley Meadow

Medley Meadow is a family run Glamping and Conservation site set in 9 acres of organic meadows. We have three luxury en-suite safari style lodges and one beautifully restored en-suite train cabin.

We are nestled in the rolling Monmouthshire countryside between the Wye Valley and the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Many beautiful places to explore nearby or our luxury accommodation to relax and unwind. A perfect place for all to enjoy the beautiful scenery and restored wildlife habitats.

The idea behind Medley Meadow is to create a natural conservation area which can be enjoyed by our wildlife as well as our guests.

The site is set in 9 acres of natural meadows. The meadows have been naturally restored with the help of Habitat Aid and The Woodland Trust.

Over 2200 trees have been planted as well as the creation of a natural wetland habitat. All the trees are indigenous to Monmouthshire and wildlife corridors help our animals move around the meadows.

We strongly believe in doing everything as environmentally friendly as possible and minimising the impact we and our guest have on the environment. We use all eco products where we can and all accommodation includes complimentary toiletries which are refilled to minimise plastic waste.

Our safari tents and train cabin are all screened off and spaced out giving you lots of privacy and plenty of room.

Each tent has a cosy living room, a double bedroom, a twin, a private bathroom with hot shower, a fully equipped kitchenette , indoor and outdoor dining areas, a large deck, fire pit and lots and lots of home comforts.

The train cabin also has a double bedroom, a private bathroom with hot shower, a fully equipped kitchenette, indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Medley Meadow is all about getting away from it all, connecting with nature and our beautiful wildlife but with all the luxuries of home. We’re not a working farm so the full site is free for you to stroll around, have a picnic and enjoy.

Inside each tent / cabin you’ll have a fully equipped kitchen area with fridge freezer, gas hob, kettle, cooking and dining utensils, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Outside the tent there’s a fire pit that’s perfect for toasting marshmallows and cooking for outdoor family meals.

Minimising our impact on the environment is at the heart of what we do. From the materials used to build each tent to the day to day running of the site. We use all eco friendly products and refill all toiletries to minimise plastic waste. This is an area we are continually improving with plans to introduce solar panels and harvest rainwater in the future.
