This well appointed, canvas lodge is superb for couples, families and friends wanting to relax, unwind and escape to the country to have all the fun of camping but with all the comforts of your home!
Sleeping up to 6 guests in a master king size bedroom, a bunk bed twin room and a cosy cabin style double bed. Beds are made up with luxury bedding, warm duvets and cosy blankets. Travel cot available.
The private en-suite wash room with flushing toilet, hot water shower and basin is attached near to the bedrooms. Bath towels and toiletries provided.
At the heart of the lodge is the wood burning stove to keep you warm and can be used to cook your meals.
The kitchen includes a gas hob, a small fridge and kitchen sink. Kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and glasses supplied. Enjoy meals at your candlelit dining table. High chair available.
Relax on the comfy leather sofa, play games, read books, watch the wildlife and feel free from everyday life with beautiful county side views and stunning evening sunsets with magical starry skies.
Your private wood fired hot tub is positioned on your veranda deck along with garden furniture and sun loungers, a fire pit with BBQ rack and pizza oven is provided for cooking evening suppers and toasting marshmallows.
The front veranda deck has outdoor seating from which you can enjoy the gorgeous sunsets and the rear entrance porch and covered veranda has hanging space for coats and outdoor boots.
A fenced area surrounding your Lodge will keep children safe.
Solar power electricity for low level lighting and LED lanterns provide ambient lighting. Plus there are four plug sockets for charging your mobile phones. A hard wired hairdryer is provided in the bathroom.
A welcome pack contains welsh cakes, chocolate, marshmallows and hot drinking chocolate.

Use our printed guided maps and trail leaflets. Explore the natural beauty of the landscape, wildlife, farm stock and heritage sites of interest. A 360 degree viewpoint from the top of the Hill walk will take your breath away. Site is close to many small market towns with independent shops and have activities for all.
Cook in the wood burning stove or on the four ring gas hob. The kettle can be used on either of these facilities. There is a small solar powered fridge for immediate supplies. Crockery, cutlery, glasses, utensils, pots, pans and serving dishes are all supplied. Even the kitchen sink with running hot water is included. Solar panels provide some electricity with lighting and power for charging your mobile devices. The wood fired stove provides heat and cooking facilities. A natural well supplies filtered clean delicious spring water. There is recycling facilities provided for all waste. Furnishings have been made from up-cycling furniture and fittings to give charm and character. LED candles and LED torches are provided. The complimentary toiletries are paraben free.
We encourage families to bring clothes and attire that will enable them to embrace the outdoors and have an exhilarating holiday full of memories. The small fridge will hold an initial supply of items. The food shops are close to restock during your stay. Bring your favourite games or use the ones supplied in our games box!
The area is well-known as the Wildlife Centre of Wales, with an amazing variety of established Nature reserves. A birdwatchers’ paradise with Buzzards, Peregrine Falcons and Red Kites seen in the skies. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and walk on the two Farm Trails or on the many trails around Rhayader and the Elan Valley. There are cycle rides to suit all abilities with bike hire. Horse riding, fishing, golf, Activity centres, swimming pools, Museums, Cinemas, shopping and eating out locally.

Minimum stay - 3 nights
Weekly lets from Friday to Friday and Short Break lets from Friday to Monday and from Monday to Friday. Hampers and luxury extras can be pre-ordered to make your stay special. The Lodge is accessed from a gravelled car park area, over a footbridge into a roofed porch area where you will find a lockable rear stable door. There is a small rise step into the Lodge which is all on one level. The front veranda has one step down from the Lodge onto the decking and a further step down to the fire pit.
