Glamping accommodation in quiet rural location in west Wales. Panoramic views, woodland walk, wood carvings, campfires and amazing night skies!Read more
All of the accommodation has its own 'space' surrounded by shrubs and trees, so nobody is overlooked. You can be as private or as sociable as you like! The woodland has paths throughout with many wood carvings, amazing totem poles, Buddhas and prayer flags along its route. We have a park for children to play in, and encourage den building and games of man hunt! At night twinkling fairy lights along some of the paths create a magical setting.
Central to the campsite is a log cabin which is available for all our guests. With a woodburning stove, an oven, power supply for charging mobiles etc (phone reception is good) washing up facilities, lots of information on the area, books on walks, nature, etc. With a large table and chairs, benches adorned with sheepskins and cushions - all creating a warm atmosphere. There is a covered campfire area outside for guests to share with a pizza oven and BBQ's. There are 2 showers and 2 toilet
The entire campsite is run by alternative energy - using wind, solar and water power. Having won awards for sustainability we are passionate about our environment and manage it accordingly. We are very eco friendly and supply all environmentally aware toiletries, washing up liquid etc. Recycling facilities available. We have a quirky compost toilet (as well as a bog standard flush loo!) praised by many of our guests!
You can either bring your own bedding (duvets and bottom sheets/sleeping bags or we can supply these at an additional cost of £20. Please advise before you arrive if you would like this option.
There's plenty to do in the area, although being so rural having a car is advisable. The beaches along Cardigan Bay are about about 20 minutes away. From walking and hiking, horse riding on Llanllwni Mountain, canoeing along the Teifi river, Mountain Bike riding in the Brechfa Forest - there's lots of outdoor activities. There are lots of castles to visit, boat rides, botanical gardens and country estates. For the kids there's Folly Farm, Heatherton, Oakwood Theme Park.
We DO NOT put our prices up during peak times (school holidays) on a moral stance. We feel this penalises families who generally struggle enough without hiked up prices.
If cancelled 28 days prior to arrival date we will reimburse payment in full. If cancelled within the 28 days we will endeavour to fill the vacancy and if we do achieve this we will reimburse.
