Gelli Glamping is all about embracing the outdoors. Just open your front door (or canvas!), and your playground awaits.

Soak in the views over the Tywi Valley from your private balcony, with the highest peak of the Preselau mountain range set on the western horizon and the wilderness of the Cambrian/Elenydd mountains to the north.

Explore our ancient castles and take in the breathtaking scenery from your base within the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Our grand "Berllan" safari tent is the latest in luxury glamping, with one king size bedroom, a king size cabin bed “cwtsh” and two single beds on the mezzanine floor (with the option of an additional inflatable single bed).

*New for 2022 is the smaller 4-berth "Odyn" safari tent, fully equipped with bathroom, kitchen and hot tub!*

Approached by a private access, your fully furnished home away from home is totally unique. Our 6-berth "Berllan" safari tent is the latest in luxury glamping and new for 2022 is our smaller, but no less luxurious 4-berth "Odyn". Bedding and towels are included, you’ll have your own private toilet and shower, along with a decked outside seating area where you can sit back and enjoy the spectacular west-facing views. Private hot tubs make our sunsets even better!

A hamper of Welsh goodies will be waiting for you upon arrival and inside the tent you’ll have a fully equipped kitchen area with fridge freezer, gas hob, kettle, microwave, cooking and dining utensils, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Outside the tent there’s a fire pit that’s perfect for toasting marshmallows and a BBQ for outdoor family meals. In the nearby bustling town of Llandeilo you’ll find supermarkets and restaurants, plus there’s lovely pubs in the surrounding area.

The pure UV filtered tap water comes straight from our private well and depending on time of year/weather conditions, up to 100% of your electricity will be produced by solar power!

Walking boots and bicycles are a must if you'd like to make the most of the area! The temperature can plummet after sundown, and although we endeavour to supply plenty of blankets, we recommend you bring some nice warm clothing for those stargazing nights!

Llandeilo and the surrounding Tywi Valley have the most iconic structures, ancient and modern, in the whole of Wales. A large network of footpaths, for walkers of all abilities, criss cross the stunning landscape, starting right from your doorstep. If you prefer bikes to boots then get your lycras on, and explore the Beacons on two wheels or visit the Brechfa mountain biking trails. For the pony lovers, Dinefwr Riding Centre have a range of horses and ponies to suit all abilities and levels.

Notes about prices

To maximise use of the tent, we offer a three night minimum weekend stay (Friday to Monday), or a four night minimum midweek stay (Monday to Friday). Longer stays are available from one week upwards.

Cancellation policy

There is no so-called cooling off period. In the event of a cancellation more than 10 weeks before the commencement of the stay, the full deposit (£150) is payable. In the event of cancellation within 10 weeks of the start of the stay, the full amount is payable. In the case of premature termination of the stay, the entire booking amount is payable
