Description of Sumners Ponds Fishery & Campsite
The campsite itself boasts high quality campsite facilities, acres of woodland, a working farm and fishing lakes.
All this in a beautiful and secluded setting which is perfect for just relaxing, or for the more active, exploring the many footpaths and safe cycle-ways within and around the site.
Among the campsite we have various glamping options in the form of a Lakeside Safari Tent, Lakeside Log Cabins, Camping Pods and bespoke Shepherds Huts.
The Cafe by the Lake is our on site cafe, restaurant and bar which is open everyday from 8pm until 10.30pm except for Mondays when we close at 5pm.
Enjoy a full English breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea on the decking overlooking the Sumners Lake, or something a bit more warming, during the winter, inside the cosy restaurant.
