Beautifully crafted and secluded shepherd huts set in a peaceful rural location, overlooking meadows in the heart of the Suffolk countryside.
Our shepherd huts offer a glamping experience at its best, providing the chance to escape to the country and be at one with nature and the outdoors.
Set in a beautiful rural location overlooking meadows, you can unwind in the peaceful Suffolk countryside, enjoy the sounds of the natural world, see the stars and detox from the digital world.
Our two fully insulated shepherd huts crafted by local artisans are built with traditional style and charm but with modern comforts.
They are an opportunity to get away from it all whilst still enjoying some of the finer things in life like a log fire, a luxurious double bed and an en-suite hot shower.
Our huts each accommodate two people and are connected to mains electricity and water.
They are equipped with a kitchen area (hob, combination oven, toaster, kettle), a wood burner, shower room (shower, wash basin and proper flushing toilet), a seating area which converts to a double bed and a fold down oak table and chairs.
Outdoors there is a garden table and chairs, BBQ and shared fire bowl.
Our shepherds huts are set in secluded grounds at Boundary Farm, on the edge of Saxtead village which has its own pub.
The historic market town of Framlingham, complete with castle and mere, is five minutes by car.
Less than half an hour’s drive away are the beautiful Heritage Coast towns of Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh.
There is access and parking via a private driveway that leads down the side of Boundary Farmhouse.
The Shepherd Huts provide a 'getaway from it all' experience and a digital de-tox. There is no TV, radio or Wi-Fi. However for those who are desperate to get connected, they can hover near the Farmhouse and connect to Wi-Fi. There is a Games Shed with table tennis, pool and table football.
The Shepherd Huts have a kitchen area with butler sink, 2 ring induction hob, mini fridge, combination microwave/oven and are equipped with kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. The huts are well insulated so are cool in the hot weather but warm and cosy in the winter with a wood burner and heated towel rail. The huts are connected to mains electricity and water and have en-suite showers and flushing toilet. Outside are tables and chairs, BBQ and a shared fire bowl.
