Free and premium wifi is available on site. Shepherd hut and cedar lodge guests will be provided with premium wifi free of charge. Half acre fishing pond is available for guests. Please bring your own equipment. Charges apply. Lots of walking routes from site, including the iconic Glastonbury Tor, just 3/4 from the base (up a steep hill). Well-stocked shop and off-licence. Range of takeaways delivered direct to site, 5 days a week, plus from Easter 2 x wood-fired pizza nights.

All glamping has own picnic bench or outdoor seating and a fire pit. Only smokeless logs permitted (available from our shop). Glamping pods have a outdoor camping stove with gas, mini fridge, kettle, toaster, king-size bed, heating, wardrobe, washing up bowl, liquid, tea towel. Shepherd huts and cedar lodges have a kitchenette with 2 burner hob, fridge, microwave, TV, inside dining area, sun loungers, private shower and toilet. Cedar lodge has decking and undercover dining.

Low energy lighting is used wherever possible. Our shower blocks use the latest renewable technologies, including underfloor heating, heat exchange systems, solar heating. The park is very conservation aware and recycling is harnessed and encouraged at all levels. The park engages with the local community wherever it can, and lots of local produce can be found in our campsite shop. Native planting and hedging encourages and sustains wildlife.

Glamping cabin guests will need to bring their own bedding (sheet is provided) and usual camping equipment, including cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. A water carrier might also be useful. Shepherd huts and cedar lodges are fully kitted out with bedding (but not towels) and all kitchen equipment, cutlery and utensils. Bring your own toiletries and food, however, we do have a well-stocked shop and 6 takeaway food nights per week if you don't fancy cooking.

Old Oaks is situated just a few miles from the Somerset Nature Reserves of Ham Wall and Westhay. Both are within cycling distance. The park is a haven for wildlife due to the plethora of mature trees and shrubs. Otters and kingfishers can be spotted at the pond, if you're lucky. Bat detectors, bird feeders, walking and cycling maps are available to borrow free of charge. Lots of walking routes are accessed directly from the park, including to the iconic Glastonbury Tor.

Cancellation policy

Where 28 days notice is given, bookings can be moved to another date. Less than 28 days, no refunds are given. Optional cancellation plan (£6 per night cabins / £10 per night huts and lodges) will allow full refund (minus fee) if 7 days notice given or 50% refund (minus fee) if less than 7 days notice. Check with park for details.
