Nettwood Farm, a working farm located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Mendip Hills with fabulous views of Chew Valley Lake and beyond.
Nettwood Farm is a laid back, family friendly campsite split over three fields, Woodland Field situated next to our woodland and Lakeview/Upper Lake View looking over Chew Valley Lake.
Our two well equipped glamping units are tucked just inside our wood for a little more privacy and our Viewing Platform set out on it's own at the top of the track. Our two 6 metre bell tents are positioned in Upper Lake View.
Families or couples can enjoy our glorious surroundings and explore our woods with it's array of wildlife. You may even spot a deer or two.
Sit back and benefit from our fabulous views over the Lake and towards Bristol, Bath and beyond.
There are two children’s play areas on site and a den building area to keep our little friends occupied.
Clean toilet, hot shower and washing up facilities with use of our fridge freezers onsite.
Nettwood is surrounded with foot paths for some great family walks and is a perfect setting for relaxing around a campfire in the evenings.
If you should want to venture out we have two decent village pubs an energetic walk or a very short car journey away, both serve food, are child friendly and welcome dogs.
There is also a village shop in the heart of the village and a late opening Spar in the next village.
Although Nettwood is set in the beautiful countryside the cities of Wells, Bristol and Bath are all a short drive away.
The attractions of Cheddar, Wookey hole, Weston Super Mare and Longleat are all in easy reach for day trips out and about.
We now have free limited Wi-Fi at Nettwood for those who want to keep in touch with the outside world!
Our facilities block in Woodland and bell tent area have been updated for the 2020 season season along with our new little alpaca family.

The Viewing Platform is fully equipped with bedding and towels provided. Bedding and towels can be hired for all other properties.

The Viewing Platform is based on 2 people sharing. Woodland Pod based on 2 people sharing but can sleep up to 4. Safari Retreat is based on 4 people sharing but can sleep up to 5. All units are priced either weekly from Fri - Fri or short breaks Fri - Mon (3nts) or Mon - Fri (4 nts). Late availability can be priced minimum 2 nts out of season.

Our World War Two cabin was used to house ex service men after the war and is situated in an elevated position on a world war 2 aircraft transporter. It has been renovated with full central heating, a log burner in the lounge for cosy nights in and a fully equipped kitchen area. A comfy double bedroom with a separate bathroom and roll top bath, shower attachment completes this light and airy couples let. The view from the decking extends beyond the campsite to the hills and countryside beyond

Nestled just inside our wood, a perfect couples let but also suitable for a family of 4. One main living area with a double bed, pull out futon, fully equipped kitchen area, sink, microwave, small fridge, kettle, a small wall mounted tv/dvd player, storage and heating. A separate cloak room with w/c and sink unit. A small porch with a camping cooker, small oven and a roomy out door seating area with fire pit equipped with a bbq rack . Picnic bench with canopy provides outdoor shelter.

A family friendly safari tent with 1 double bedroom with kingsized bed, a bunk bed room with a pull out futon for 3rd child. A living/ kitchen area with fully equipped kitchen, sink, fridge, camping hobs, dining table and a log burner with a basket of wood to get you started. Plenty of bedroom storage. A decked large area with sofa and chairs and a compost loo by the side of your tent for your private use. Fire pit with a bbq rack included for a family get together in the evenings.

2 6 mtre lotus bell tents with a stunning view and easy access to facilities block. Fully equipped and comfortable with a shared kitchenette area for use of bell tent occupants only. Both bell tents have an electricity supply with blow up beds, storage, crockery, cutlery, pots/pans and utensils. Bedding can be hired on request
