Description of Bala Lake Glamping

Pen y Bont campsite is a 4 star touring and camping park close to the shores of Bala Lake in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, North Wales.

We offer traditional camping as well as glamping.

We have 2 traditional gypsy wagons, a gorgeous shepherds hut and Tipi depending on the season

We are a short walk from Bala town and its amenities.

Bala is located in the county of Gwynedd so a fantastic central base to enjoy the many outdoor activities Snowdonia has to offer including sailing, walking, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, zip world, bounce below, surf Snowdonia, Mount Snowdon and much much more.

Alternatively you could just relax, take in the local scenery and enjoy the beautiful mountains, lakes and coastline.

Lake Vyrnwy and many other tourist attractions are close by.

Our traditional bow tops Blod and Belle each sleep two people. They give a hint of rustic life, with a dash of glamour tinged with the romance of Romany life.

There is a pull-out double bed with storage below, colourful curtains, painted woodwork, a little touch of quirky charm.

The caravans have been lovingly built and contain a mixture of authentic features as well as modern touches and are cosy and warm and comfortable.

One caravan is pet friendly and can accommodate one small dog...

Shepherds Hut

Our gorgeous shepherds hut been lovingly and uniquely handcrafted to our own specification and is full of cuteness, quirky character and modern touches with rustic charm.

Option of using either two small single beds or a double bed. Wood burning stove and storage.

Inside is an Electric Kettle, 2 cups, 2 Beakers, Starter Brew Kit, Lighting, Cool Box and Power Sockets.

Cooking is Al Fresco and outside all is a BBQ, Fire pit and Picnic bench. Pet friendly.

During the summer months we also have a traditional Tipi to rent which sleeps two people and a pet. Inside is a double futon.
