“Quirky cabins and a tree house with wonderful views and sunsets located at Craighead Farm near Dunblane in Perthshire.”

Description of Craighead Howfs

Craighead Howf is a collection of self-catering accommodation styles from a 5 star luxury stone-built cottage to quirky glamping cabins.

All are completely secluded and are designed by the family who lives at Craighead Farm.

Craighead is located near Dunblane, Stirling and Perth and is perfectly located to access Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Highlands of Scotland.

It is unique in its quiet country setting, surrounded by natural gardens, a lochan and woodland areas.

We have wonderful views, sunsets and privacy, yet thanks to our location we are ideally placed to base yourself for easy access to some of Scotland’s finest country and tourist attractions.

Craighead Farm has been our family home since 1990 and in early 2000s we developed the steadings into what is now known as the Muckle Howf, the luxury 5 star holiday cottage.

In 2013-14 we built the Wee Howf and the Summer Howf which both offer a quirky Perthshire getaway.

The facilities include the newly created ‘Wash Howf ‘ which is a pleasant 200m walk along the lochan and up to the main buildings.

It has been created in a charming country style offering you a shower, toilet, hair drying facility, fridge/freezer and washing up area.

There is plenty to do in the area but if you don’t feel like leaving you can just enjoy the two acres of grounds and gardens at Craighead.

Kids – Sorry but at this time we do not allow children under the age of 16 years of age to stay in the glamping Howf’s without prior consent.

Dogs – Sorry but we can not accommodate dogs.
