Social distancing available at Air Pods

The Rowan Pod and the Hawthorn Pod are both far apart from each other. There is a hand sanitiser at each Pod and also outside the farm shop. Keyless entry and all information sent to an app on your phone. Hot tub checked twice a day and you will be advised of the time so that you can be away from the hot tub.

Set on 633 acres of organic farm land, with Shetland ponies, a Highland Cow, Shetland Cattle, Alpacas, Pigs, Donkeys, Hens and Bantams. Your Pod is nestled away from the main farm area surrounded by peace and quiet. We have a small Farm shop on site, including a freezer stocked with ready made meals and local ice creams! There are numerous on farm walks that allow plenty of time to speak to. he farm animals to spot wildlife. Peace and quiet and amazing night skies.

The Rowan Pod and Hawthorn Pods are totally self contained and set in a quiet location far from each other. There is a small fridge inside each and in a little outside hut, there is an additional fridge with a small freezer box, and a microwave. The Hawthorn has limited cooking facilities inside and an outdoor BBQ. the Rowan has a BBQ hut. The farm shop has all the basics for meals etc as well as some not so " basic" such as botanical drinks, luxury biscuits, yummy ice cream and much mo

We are an Organic Farm with our own water from a borehole and we strive to work in partnership with nature. Our cattle are grass reared all year round. We leave hedgerows to grow, spaces around are fields are never harvested and we have a number of meadows left to encourage a diverse ranged of plants and insect life. We have planted bird seed meadows to encourage bird life, and put in place flight ponds to encourage bio-diversity and to assist migrating birds.

Bedding and towels are provided as well as Robes and Slippers for the hot tub. You may need wellies and waterproof clothing if you want to walk round the farm, depending on the weather. There are limited or no inside cooking facilities so you will need food suitable for the bbq. Pans are provided so you can be adventurous as you like with your cooking! We do now have a microwave for your own use, and a selection of frozen meals in our farm shop.

The farm provides ample space for exploring nature, especially wildlife watching. We have a herd of wild deer, buzzards, Barn owls, Tawny Owls and Kestrel. We have hares, stoats and badgers all making their homes here. We have three fenced walks around the farm, and a woodland area to explore. We are ideally places for day trips around the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh where you can access many activities from craft classes to mountain biking.

At the moment our minimum stay is 3 nights either over a weekend or 2 nights Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday.
