Description of Eco-lodge Brejeira
Embraced by the Algarvian hills lies Eco-lodge Brejeira, the place for those searching for nature, peace, privacy and personal approach.
The Yurt is hidden in a cosy corner on a wooden platform where you can relax in the deckchairs and enjoy the feeling of having only the lizards as your neighbours.
The round gardenhouse provides shade and a dining area , and has a small kitchen with fridge and basic cooking utensils to allow simple meals to be prepared. Here, breakfast is served on request.
Take a fantastic shower with a view in the private bathroom, which also hosts the ecological toilet.
Amidst the medronho bushes stands the old-fashioned, Dutch gypsy van. First thing you see through the windows in the morning when you wake up is the splendid view over the Monchique mountain.
Fitted with a sitting room and your own kitchen, you have the choice to start the day inside, or outside under the hand-built natural stone shelter that provides the shadow needed later in the afternoon.
Rustic stairs lead to the shower, where you feel in the middle of nature under the pleasant jetstream, and on the other side to the toilet building that turns your daily needs into an adventure.
Once upon the time, this German van was used as an ambulance for the fire brigade. It has since been transformed into a small camper with a kitchen and a sitting area that can be transformed into a double bed.
Our most back-to-nature glamping experience, placed in our little valley, next to next to our source, where you will have all privacy, your own compost-toilet, the unforgettable simple bucket-shower under the cork oak, and a shaded area.
