Description of New Hanson Shepherds Huts
Two beautiful shepherd huts located on a beef and sheep hill farm in the heart of the Peak District, near picturesque Milldale.
Our quaint shepherd huts are reminiscent of the original living accommodation for a shepherd, with its stable door, cast iron wheels and wood burning stove.
Today it is a romantic glamping escape, relaxing and more rustic way to holiday and enjoy the delights of the Derbyshire Dales.
The shepherd huts are located on the edge of our newly planted woodland, with beautiful views over the rolling countryside, situated above the River Dove near the picturesque riverside hamlet of Milldale.
Our shepherd huts are ecologically friendly, with no electricity, television or internet, instead just relax and unwind with nature on your doorstep.
The huts are warm and cosy with their wood burning stoves, perfect for those chilly winter evenings and cooler days, a built in bed with luxury linen, battery operated hurricane lanterns creating ambient lighting and a camping gas stove for cooking simple meals.
If you don’t want to do all the cooking, an optional Breakfast Hamper can be delivered right to your door.
Sit out on the shepherd’s hut verandah, sip your tea and see the wildlife and farm animals become awake.
