About Abbey Farm

Kites Nest Shepherds Hut is discretely nestled into the sloping rural landscape of Abbey Farm.

A 270 acre farm, located a short distance from the quiet market town of Thame, on the borders of Oxfordshire with Buckinghamshire.

Only minutes from junctions 7 and 8 of the M40, it is extremely well suited to persons wishing to get away for that idylic, tranquil, glamping break, be it for a short stay or longer.

The hut enjoys a rural location with the bonus of a bus stop at the end of the drive for Oxford, Thame or Aylesbury.

Haddenham train station is a few minutes drive for London Marylebone, Bicester, Banbury or Warwick.

Positioned in among a woodland plantation, the hut looks towards the Chiltern Hills nearby.

Totally self contained, heated and insulated, it has a fully equipped kitchen next to which is the seating/dining area.

Off this is an en-suite shower room, again finished to a very high standard.

At night, a double bed pulls out of the end wall for an extremely comfortable nights sleep.

Outside is a lawned area with chimnea and bbq and now a recently installed decking area with table and chairs and a wood fired hot tub. Where better to sit and relax and see the stars.

With a footpath and bridleway a few hundred yards from the hut, a cycle path at the farm entrance which links to the Phoenix Trail cycle route and private walks and fishing along the River Thame that runs through the farm, you have much to enjoy on your doorstep.

Nestled on the edge of a woodland plantation, it virtually guarantees sightings of Red Kites circling overhead.
