Jollydays is all about woodland life and the woods team with wildlife, badgers, deer hares and a over 200 species of birds. It is a place to retreat from the pressures of modern life and rediscover the joys of simple living, great food and great company. An eco camp with limited electricity and we have a Gold award from the Green Tourism scheme.

A small off licence onsite sells a range of local beers, soft drinks and wines. Summer 2019 sees the opening of a fairy wood attraction and café, one of the first of its kind in the UK. All large tents have their own showers and kitchens in the tent and woodcutter huts have kitchens but use communal washing up and shower facilities. A large tea tent is ideal for wet days or phone charging and the communal camp fire has a canopy so can be used in all weathers. All bedding is provided.

We have a very low electric usage and reed bed toilet system, so we process our own waste. He have been holders of a Green Tourism award (Gold) for many years.

We are perfectly placed in a beautiful rural location, yet just 15 minutes from York and all the amazing facilities this award winning city has to offer.

Notes about prices

Prices shown for 2 people in low season to price for 6 sharing in high season. Single Sunday nights also available (from £30pp based on 6 sharing) outside school hols and 25% discount for couples. Weekends are 2 nights (3 during school hols) and 2 and 4 night midweeks available.
