An award-winning holiday park in the Norfolk Broads featuring glamping pods, yurts and luxury lodges with hot tubs.
Our Park is set in the beautiful surroundings of South Norfolk’s Waveney Valley, with fabulous views across the Norfolk & Suffolk marshes and a wealth of on-Park facilities.
On the Park, you’ll find The Waveney Inn – our newly refurbished pub & restaurant, an indoor heated swimming pool, the Mariner’s Stores, as well as a kids’ playground and wildlife garden.
For a trip along the river, you can hire day cruisers, canoes and kayaks – or you can take our ferry across to Suffolk and walk alongside the river, through Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve or into the nearby town of Oulton Broad.
Waveney River Centre has been awarded David Bellamy’s Gold Conservation Award for the past 9 years.
Try our ‘Escape Glamping Pods’ – designed and built by our skilled boatbuilders here at Waveney River Centre.
They have an overall size of 14ft x 10ft including a decked porch and are ideal for short breaks and holidays all year round, with their double glazed doors & window and electric heater.
The pods are wrapped in foil-backed multi layer insulation, to help keep it warm in winter and cool in summer.
Inside, the pods feature a full size double bed above two single beds, a FreeView TV, LED lights, a double socket and loads of storage space.
New for 2017: Nomadic-style glamping yurts!
Nestled along the back row of our campsite, our 7 yurts all have fantastic views of the river Waveney and Carlton Marshes nature reserve.
They measure 5m across and feature a double bed and sofa bed, plug sockets, plus an electric heater, wood burning stove and insulated roof to make cold evenings cosy. Each yurt sits on its own deck for sitting out on, or cooking.
Camping in a pod or yurt is like regular camping, without the hassle of packing the tent – or putting it up and down! You do need to bring everything else which you’d bring on a camping holiday.
We provide foam mattresses but please bring your own linen or sleeping bags.
Our glamping pods and yurts are equipped with beds and mattresses, but you'll need to supply your own bedding. We have a first aider on site, as well as a shop that you can use to stock up on anything you didn't bring with you.
