About The Grove Glamping

Beautiful Mongolian Yurts and Luxury Shepherd's Lodge (with Hot Tub) on the four acre grounds of The Grove, Cromer with Indoor heated swimming pool and 5-10 minutes walk from Cromer beach.

Just five minutes walk from the beautiful North Norfolk Coast, through Warren Woods, you will find five Mongolian yurts and a Shepherd's Lodge situated on the grounds of the Georgian Country House - The Grove, Cromer.

The Grove is a third (Graveling) generation family run hotel set in 4 acres of land and has an indoor heated swimming pool, treehouse play area, restaurants and Massage hut.

Thirty plus years ago, the five Graveling siblings would often be found camping in the grounds of The Grove during the magical summer months.

The youngest, Ruth, decided nine years ago that she wanted other people to experience the fun of camping at The Grove and so set up a glamping site.

Each of the Mongolian yurts are set on cedar decking and are fully insulated, have electricity and lighting, comfy beds and a wood-burning stove.

In 2022 Ruth and her husband Rich also added a Shepherd's Lodge with a hot tub and some fancy things like a Big Green Egg, Pizza Oven, underfloor heating, ensuite toilet and shower, indoor and outdoor kitchen and table tennis. The Shepherd's Lodge sleeps up to five people but is cleverly designed so that the triple bunk can be hidden away to also make it perfect for couples.

During the day, the beach provides some brilliant entertainment - whether you are into crab fishing off Cromer Pier, having a lesson in surfing of stand-up-paddleboarding, or visiting the lighthouse or interactive lifeboat museum.

After a meal at The Grove, fish and chips on the beach, or a BBQ, Glampers can marvel at the sunset over the sea, and then head back through the woods and enjoy sitting around the campfire under the stars or having some evening drinks and a game of cards in the undercover eating area, which also has a fridge and gas stove.

Just outside of Cromer, there is plenty to see and do such as National Trust properties, seal trips at Blakeney Point or exploring the amazing beaches that North Norfolk has to offer.

The Grove glamping host five and six metre traditional Mongolian yurts and a Shepherd's Lodge. The yurts have a wood burning stove, electricity, undercover eating area with a fridge and gas stove and a communal fire pit. The Shepherd's Lodge has a Hot tub (the yurt's do not), Big Green Egg, Pizza Oven, underfloor heating, wood burning stove, ensuite toilet and shower, indoor and outdoor kitchen and table tennis as well as a private fire pit.

Notes about prices

We keep our pricing the same all year round but sometimes have some special offers on in lower season.

Cancellation policy

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking total is required. The deposit will be refunded according to the cancellation conditions. If the booking is cancelled less than 21 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
