Spacious and well equipped yurts at a campsite superbly located to enjoy all the Lake District has to offer.
The coast, a castle, Coniston and the stunning views make up just a handful of things that make the Moss Side Farm site totally unique for anyone who visits.
Located on working Lakeland hill farm having traditional Herdwick sheep and lambs, Hereford cattle, ponies, ducks & hens, this wonderfully quiet and secluded spot is a slice of Lake District paradise.
Just a hop, skip & a jump from Coniston Water in one direction & the seaside in the other, Moss Side Farm is in the ideal location for exploring the very best of all the Lake District has to offer. Situated in their own exclusive field the yurts with private Scandinavian wood fired hot tubs provide a wonderful Lake District glamping holiday with a difference.
Situated at the foot of the simply stunning and wild Duddon Valley upon a natural plateau commanding spectacular views stretching for miles over Kirkby Pool & the Duddon estuary, Moss Side Farm boasts a quiet, off the beaten track glamping holiday in one of the Lake Districts most beautiful and wild places. While you certainly feel a million miles away from anywhere it’s just a half an hours walk away along the old railway line to the beautiful village of Broughton with it’s award winning bakery, butchers as well as a selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Thirty minutes walk the other way over the hill is the Blacksmiths Arms. A traditional Lakeland pub with exceptional food.
Moss Side Farm is just 15 mins away from the picturesque traditional Lakeland village of Coniston, one of the Lake District’s most spectacular lakes & beautiful villages. Ideal for wild swimming, a cycle around the Lake, a picnic on its beautiful east side, a boat trip up the entire length of the lake or climbing the iconic “Old Man” of Coniston there’s something here for everyone. Just 15 minutes the other way, why not enjoy and ice cream on the beach at Haverigg or Silecroft or take a dip if you are feeling brave?
