About Hadrian's Wall Country Yurts

A small, yet spacious, glamping site near Lanercost in Cumbria, just a stones throw from Hadrian's Wall. The site has two yurts with firepits & private hot tubs under the stars.

Our beautiful, traditional Mongolian style yurts sit amongst the rugged Cumbrian countryside near to the historic Hadrian's Wall.. The three quarter acre glamping site, with just two yurts, offers plenty of space to relax, play and roam.

This peaceful and secluded hideaway is ideal for exploring, relaxing and reconnecting with yourself, your friends and your family. The perfect escape, so leave your busy lives at home, unwind and enjoy a wonderful few days away at Hadrian's Wall Country Yurts.

Each yurt provides a calm, cosy, circular space heated by wood burning stove. Sited more than 30m apart the yurts feel secluded with their own private seating areas, firepits and hot tubs under the stars.

There are wonderful views from the yurts. To the South, the Northern Pennines and to the West, the distant Fells of the Lake District. Located close to one of the protected Dark Night Sky areas, on clear nights you can certainly enjoy a stunning starlight performance.

The glamping site is dog friendly so your four legged friends can stay too.

Each yurt sleeps 4 with a comfortable double bed and two camp style beds. The beds are made up with crisp, fresh linen. There is a breakfast bar style kitchen bench with gas hob and all the kitchen equipment you need; perfect for rustling up meal or hot drink. A 55l high tech cool-box keeps your food and drink at fridge temperatures.

The yurts are off-grid but powered by battery packs and lit by fairy lights and lamps. With no WiFi you can ditch the devices - relax, play and reconnect - and enjoy spending time together.

Outside you have your own private seating area complete with BBQ, firepit and countryside views. You can cook and dine al fresco as well as relax in the comfortable chairs or in your own private wood-fired hot tub under the stars.

Each yurt has its own compost loo and sink with hot and cold water. There is a shared shower and washing up.

Notes about prices

Prices are per yurt and includes your hot tub.. Each yurt sleeps up to 4. We offer a discounted rate when booking both yurts together. This rate includes one hot tub. A second hot tub can be added as an extra (*additional charge applies).

Cancellation policy

You can cancel up to 30 days before your stay but your deposit will be retained. If you book within 30 days of your stay full payment will be taken immediately and no refund will be available. Hadrian’s Wall Country Yurts may use its discretion to agree to change your booking. You are advised to obtain insurance cover for your stay.
