Our two spacious, safari lodges are generously spaced apart by about 60 meters. Both can sleep up to 8 people in versatile sleeping options with en-suite bathrooms & kitchens.
Perfect for families or groups of friends who want to spend time together enjoying the big outdoors alone.

"SANDPIPER" has three bedrooms. One master with fourposter kingsized bed, a twin room which can convert into bunks for 4 and a cabin bed accessed by a small ladder sleeping two.
There is added accommodation in an adjacent Bell tent with a lovely old iron double bed for exclusive use
of Sandpipers guests at a small additional fee.
Bedding and towels are supplied for all tents.
"SKYLARK" s a larger tent and has four bedrooms. One fourposter kingsized bed, one double which can be split into twins, one bunk bedroom and a double cabin bed.
The "Bathroom pods" are connected to the back of the tents and has hot showers and flushing toilets with large towels and complimentary shower gell bars supplied to all guests. Skylarks Bathroom is wheelchair accessiable.
The main tents haves large living space with comfy seating and fantastic wood-burning stoves with a small oven for baking. Large 'kitchen' tables can seat everyone in comfort. The kitchens are fully equipped with all the necessary essentials.
The tents/lodges are generously spaced apart and nestle by an old pond on a family-run farm in a secluded but not remote site. Situated on the edge of Romney Marsh and the Isle of Oxney it has a stunning backdrop of the ancient cliffs marking the old Saxon Shoreway.
Enjoy the peace and quiet watching the sunset and the abundant wildlife all around. With almost light pollution-free night sky it is ideal for stargazing.
With large firepit and BBQ and masses of space, Wheatfields is a great spot to relax whilst watching the kids and the dog have the freedom to run around.

The site is on a working arable farm in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The big sky of Romney Marsh is breathtaking. Freedom to relax and play and with no farm animals your dog can do the same. Parking on site. Large fire pit and gas BBQ. Footpaths cross the farm towards Rye and beyond. Fishing available on our private stretch of river. With very little light pollution the "Dark Sky" offers great star gazing. Masses of space to run around and play.

Wheatfields is on a farm so do bring wellies and rainwear if wet. We supply all the basic essentials, coffee, tea, seasonings, etc. Fresh milk on arrival. Bring all your food and drink. The tent is off the grid. Hot water is supplied by a gas boiler. There are fridges and USB charging ports. There is no wifi but has 4G. Lanterns are supplied for use in around the tent but bring your own torch, there is minimal outside lights to preserve the night sky.
Several beaches including Camber Sands are a short drive away for walking and watersports including sailing, windsurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking and kite surfing. Footpaths criss cross Romney Marsh to Rye and beyond. Fishing is available on the River Rother, Canal and harbour. Cycling routes across quiet flat lanes of Romney Marsh or along the coast. Bird watching at Dungeness and Rye Harbour nature reserves.
Prices based on low to high season on a two-night minimum stay. Weekend stays minimum of three nights have a discounted Sunday night rate. 7-night stays have a 15% discount. School Summer Holidays - three-night minimum stays only. Check in on Fridays, Mondays & Tuesdays.
COVID19 Cancellation Policy - 15% deposit at time of booking. Full balance paid 14 days before arrival. Full Refund if cancelled due to COVID. Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival no refund. Cancellation more than 14 days before arrival 50% refund. No Shows after arrival date full cost is charged, Host cancels full refund within 5 days.

Sandpiper is a luxury tent/lodge offering versatile sleeping options It has three bedrooms. Master with fourposter king-sized bed, The second bedroom has two adult strong bunks to sleep up to four or these can be made into two twin beds. The cabin room, accessible by a small ladder is a double. A Bell tent with a double bed is also available for the exclusive use of the guests of Sandpiper for an additional charge of £50 per night. All bed linen and towels are included for both tents.

Nightingale is a beautiful large Safari tent sleeping up to eight people with versatile sleeping options. The main bedroom boasts a kingsized four-poster bed. The Bunkroom can sleep two and the twin room can be made into a double. Then there's the cabin room with its double loved by everyone. The tent has its own private bathroom with a hot shower and flushing toilet. All bedding and towels are provided.
