Preston Court specialises in offering group stays and is the perfect location for groups of families and friends getting together for a weekend of fun in the countryside. Take exclusive hire of one of our Glamping areas, explore the estate and Nature Reserve - you can even go wild swimming in the Little Stour river! Or you can easily visit one of the many popular local seaside towns such as Margate, Sandwich, Broadstairs and Whitstable, as well as the beautiful Cathedral City of Canterbury.

Sleep in a fully furnished bell tent, with a proper bed and sprung mattress, complete with duck down duvets and crisp cotton sheets - you will wake up feeling like you are in a luxury hotel. Decorated with an array of patterned floor coverings, colourful cushions, snug throws and sheepskin rugs, you can wrap warm with a fluffy hot-water bottle to ensure you are cosy whatever the weather.

The Glamping Meadow site sleeps 28-34 guests, between 10 luxury Bell Tents complete with electricity. Tents are pitched around the perimeter of a meadow paddock with horses and sheep grazing in the surrounding paddocks. The outdoor living area includes a 13m Star Canopy which is perfect for a bit of midday shade, or sheltering from a shower. Fire pits, tables, chairs and picnic benches with parasols are scattered across the outdoor living area, with atmospheric solar stake lights and lanterns.

The Woodland Glade site sleeps 16-22 guests, between 7 luxury off-grid Bell Tents. Each tent is pitched spaciously, scattered around a little woodland and across a foot bridge in a grassy glade with views directly across the Nature Reserve. The woodland camp area is festoon lit, with comfy pallet sofa seating around a central fire pit, and hammocks where you can relax listening to the birdsong. A gazebo provides cover in case of inclement weather.

Each site is complete with a fully kitted out Summer House kitchen and a purpose-built Bathroom Cabin with powerful, hot showers (towels included).

Notes about prices

Group hire is based on filling the site minimum capacity, at £50 per person, per night. A Bell Tent with 2 guests (Double bed) is £100 per night. An Emperor Tent for 4 guests (Double bed and 2 Single beds) is £200 per night. Add another guest in a Single bed at £50 per night, up to site maximum capacity.
