Eco features

  • Conservation

We farm carbon fixing permanent pasture making hay later in the season to encourage a wide variety of butterflies and insects across our flower meadows. We farm in a very extensive way working with nature, all our lamb is grass fed and we have the local Romney breed and Poll Dorset's, another native breed that thrive on our grass fed system and are slower to mature to make the great tasting lamb that we sell from the farm.

What To Bring

  • Food & Drink
  • Rainwear
  • Warm Clothing
  • Wellies

The Hideaway comes with a basic supply of tea, coffee, condiments etc and a welcome pack (please inform us of any food allergies and intolerances), other food is required, BBQ meat packs can be pre ordered. The kingsize bed is made for you and towels are supplied. We advise sturdy footwear or wellies for damp mornings and long grass as well as something warm to wear so you can enjoy watching the sunset by the fire for longer and as we can never guarantee the British weather, a waterproof coat!
