Blean Bees Eco Glamping is set in 7 acres of beautiful grassland with mature hedges, overlooking 'The Blean' woodland, which stretches all the way to Canterbury.
There are just 2 huts and up to 5 Bell tents, all carefully positioned to give each its own privacy, whilst still being close to the site amenities.
There are 2 compositing toilets which are shared and a gas shower with hot water and drinking water, camp fires and logs and bedding provided.
Blean Bees is ideally located with Whitstable, Canterbury and Faversham towns all within 5 mile radius, so if you fancy a day at the beach, or some activities or enjoy history, everything you could want is close at hand.
The site itself is surrounded on all sides by woodlands and pasture and is there is plenty of wildlife, you will hear woodpeckers, owls and see buzzards and kestrels and many other birds and all kinds of small mammals and insects.
The huts are off the ground and and the Bell tents all have zipped ground sheets, to keep little creatures out and you nice and dry.
We are completely 'Off Grid' so no electric on site, so you can completely switch off and enjoy a digital detox.
Each accommodation has a high spec Cool boxes with a large ice pack provided.
We have been welcoming glampers since 2013 and many of our customers come back year after year, which is really great to see.
Each accommodation has its own fire pit with logs provided and picnic table and gas stove. There is drinking water on tap and composting toilets, which are emptied daily and gas shower for hot water. There are miles of footpaths within walking distance of the site, you may wish to bring bikes. Most of our guests go out exploring for the day and come back to chill in the evening. There is space for kids to run about safely on site.
The environment is important to us, there are recycling bins to separate all the rubbish which we do request everyone does and most people do. The toilets are dry composting and composted on site and used for fertiliser after a couple of years. There is no electricity, so keeps the carbon cost low and the land is managed with minimal disturbance and planted to encourage native wildlife.
Most items are provided, so you don't need to bring too much. We provide beds, bedding, camp chairs, cooking and eating facilities and implements. A full list is provided on booking and on our website.

Minimum stay - 1 nights
The Eco Hut is modestly named, it site in pride of place right at the top of the site with a stunning view. There is a separate bedroom with double bed and in the main area there is a small double and option to put the adult camped or travel cot. There is a woodturner for cooler nights, bedding, crockery and cutlery for all and books to read and a few games to play. Outside it has its own decking area and picnic table and separate cooking table and gas stove.

Honey Suckle, was built in 2022 and has a separate bedroom with comfortable double bed and in the main area is a single bed which doubles as a day sofa and there is foam zed bed for a 4th person. Outside, honeysuckle has its own picnic table, gas stove and campfire pit. Honeysuckle has a solar panel which means there are lights and phone charging sockets inside.

Our bell tents are all a generous 5m diameter heavy duty cotton canvas. All come carpeted, with either a double bed frame and mattress or double air beds and foam single beds all with bedding. They are available from mid May to mid September and are a firm favourite with families with small children. Each comes with its own picnic table, parasol, gas stove, cool box, campfire pit and everything you need to cook and eat.
