Read moreEach accommodation has its own fire pit with logs provided and picnic table and gas stove. There is drinking water on tap and composting toilets, which are emptied daily and gas shower for hot water. There are miles of footpaths within walking distance of the site, you may wish to bring bikes. Most of our guests go out exploring for the day and come back to chill in the evening. There is space for kids to run about safely on site.
The environment is important to us, there are recycling bins to separate all the rubbish which we do request everyone does and most people do. The toilets are dry composting and composted on site and used for fertiliser after a couple of years. There is no electricity, so keeps the carbon cost low and the land is managed with minimal disturbance and planted to encourage native wildlife.
Most items are provided, so you don't need to bring too much. We provide beds, bedding, camp chairs, cooking and eating facilities and implements. A full list is provided on booking and on our website.
