There is no Wi-Fi here, but we are sure you will find a BETTER CONNECTION! Enjoy evenings spent by the campfire, toasting marshmallows... Relax in a hammock, sipping your favourite coffee... or gin! Hunt for some frogs. Have fun pond dipping. Play on a tyre swing... After all, nature is the best playground and mud and dirt wash off, but the memories last forever.
Dedicated building houses newly refurbished shower rooms and flushing toilets. Bell tents guests enjoy their private facilities, while shepherd's hut glampers and campers share a family-size wash room. Our Summer Kitchen and outdoor eating area is exclusive for bell tents glampers. Shepherd's hut is equipped with its own gas hob, mini fridge, fire pit, outdoor kitchenette and seating. Our ethos is based on sustainable and low environmental impact of tourism, leaving no trace and respecting wildlife and fellow guests and neighbours. We promote recycling, repurposing and composting and use solar energy only. The site is open only a third of the year to ensure minimal impact on ecosystems. We teamed up with The Greener Camping Club and are members-only site, welcoming guests who share similar values. We plant a native tree per every new member staying with us! So... Thank you!
We are an off-grid site so please bring good torches and power banks. Glamping accommodation is fully set up including bed linen (we ask to bring towels/tea towels- thanks). Children's beds have a pillow and a sheet ready - please byo sleeping bag. All cooking utensils, crockery etc are provided (plus some basics i.e oil, sugar, salt, spices, cling film), so are camping chairs, fire pit and bbq (please byo charcoal). Camping guest bring their own kit, picnic bench/fire pit provided.

You will be spoilt with local offerings and activities nearby! Forest of Dean and Wye Valley are packed with things to do, explore and take part it. Kayaking, Canoeing, Walking, Paddleboarding, Cycling, Sightseeing.... you name it! How about a visit to a Castle? or local Heritage Centre? Cider Museum? You can also choose to explore our most local footpaths... they go one for miles! You can be as active or as idle as you wish - no rush to leave your comfy hammock, the choice is yours. Enjoy.
Glamping - In holidays time we offer 4 nights mid-week or 2 or 3 nights weekend stays, with check-in Monday and Friday. Off peak we are more flexible - offering min 2 nights stays with additional check in day on Wednesday. Check in 4-7pm, check-out 10:30. Camping - min 3 nights stay and flex arrival day. Check in 4-7pm, check-out 12:00.
Cancellation made more than 28 days before the holiday start date will be subject to a 30% admin fee equal to the non-refundable deposit paid during reservation. Cancellation made within 28 days of the holiday start date will not be refunded. Any rearrangement within our discretion. We suggest you take out holiday insurance to cover any losses.
