Description of New Inn Brilley

New Inn in Brilley, a former Pub and an Inn, offers glamping dwellings with privacy, unspoilt natural surroundings with stunning views.

– The round house ‘Mother Earth’ with a Whiskey Barrel hot tub.

– The Loggers Cabin ‘Rising Sun’ with a roll top iron bath tub on its decking.

– The ‘Wagon Over the Valley’ with its roll top iron bath tub on its decking.

– The Tabernacle ‘Angels’ with its light tower.

– 60s Caravan ‘Bijou’ also with its bathtub on decking.

– 70s Caravan with its unbeatable views over the Black mountains and Brecon Beacons.

– Small Self contained cottage that dates back to the 1700s with its Rayburn ideal in the cold evenings, all are located in their private corners, down the fields of this once a Pub and Inn now a small holding.

Each of these dwellings, enjoy their own bath or shower and compost loos that have been endorsed by CAT.

A small BBQ is provided to each dwelling, however there is a bigger capacity a sheltered communal BBQ with a sitting area.

The New Inn enjoys one of the most spectacular views on to the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons.

We are 5 miles from the famous book town Hay on Wye, we are also on the Offa’s Dyke path for enthusiast walkers… there are horse riding schools very close by.

Canoeing is one of the main attractions.

Angels is an inspiration of a Tabernacle. This type of a tabernacle cladded with recycled corrugated sheets, were first introduced by the Victorians.

They exported these temples all over the world where missionaries needed them.

It is spacious in hight, bringing in light from windows all around and up the tower. The King size double bed is up a ladder on a landing. It has a sofa double bed that pulls out, and another single in the alcove. It also aha a small kitchen corner.

Rising Sun

The Rising Sun sits on its own among the trees where a triangle of boardwalks make up the camp of cabin, shower and loo that come together to create a place where you can be completely alone, unless one of the chickens takes a really long walk.

The bath tub... treat yourself to lush hot water under the trees with aroma oils... and float towards heaven.

This space has been created out of the ground, with the clay dug from right there where it stands.

Sleeps 6, a double raised bed, with 2 singles in alcoves, one single beneath the double bed, and one is a reclining Edwardian deck chair.

On the decking a Whisky barrel is waiting for you to soak in hot water or cold on very hot days...overlooking the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons.

A completely original Wagon full of unique touches, at the top of a wild hilly meadow with breathtaking mountain views.

A double bed with a canopy made of white linen and lace and satin ribbons, antique mirrors, a cosy wood burner and two Edwardian desks.

Outdoor bath tub, on the decking, for you to enjoy a hot soak under the stars.

A 70s Caravan, a double bed sitting corner, with a wood burner, a 2 hob gas cooker and decking in front with your compost loo just by the decking, and its own shower.

It sits just by the road behind the hedge, tucked in the corner of the parking itself. There is hardly any traffic after the evening, just the odd car that would pass by, which will be heard.

However it has the best ever view of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons, dominating the whole valley, with spectacular sunsets.
