Read moreEach accommodation is in its own secluded area of our farm with its own bathroom facilities and either wood fired hot-tub or luxurious copper bath. We have a strong environmental ethos, with everything off-grid, electrics run by solar, composting toilets and all our water recaptured into our pond system. The accommodation is set around wild flower meadows, forest gardens and wildlife ponds, creating a magical landscape. The life-enhancing views to the Skirrid mountain are a view to behold.
Each accommodation has its own private bathroom, a well equipped kitchen, outdoor BBQ area and luxurious king bed with soft bamboo bedding. On arrival you will find the guest car park. In the adjacent stables a fridge/freezer for use during your stay and ice packs to take down to your cool box (it is not possible to have a fridge in the off-grid units). We provide towels, shower mats, and bedding for your stay. A generous basket of wood is provided, more can be purchased here if needed.
We are doing everything we can to make our accommodation as 'eco' as possible from the bamboo bedding to the bamboo toilet paper and kitchen roll. All hand soaps and cleaning products have been sourced from Bio-D. We are off-grid, lighting powered by solar and toilets composters. The showers, baths and hot tubs drain into our ponds so please use eco-products where possible. Our farm is organic and we are championing biodiversity recreation and regenerative agriculture.
The kitchen is well equipped with utensils, gas stove, table and sink with hot water. We provide some basics including tea, coffee and oil and there is also an outdoor BBQ area. But do come prepared as the nearest shops are over 10 minutes drive away. We have fires and hot water bottles in the accommodation but do pack for cold weather to ensure you get the most from your nights under canvas. We recommend slippers, thermals, torch, wellies and wet weather gear just in case.
