About Marina Yurts

A unique ‘Glamping’ experience in a coastal location at Emsworth Yacht Marina. Set on a private wooded peninsular with sea/harbour views.

We have 4 large luxury self-catering yurts that comfortably accommodate a MAXIMUM of 2 adults and up to 3 children. Each yurt is individually themed with a nautical feel and based on a private wooded peninsula surrounded by sea.

Each yurt includes:

Large main bed, sofa bed and pull out bed, including all bedding.
Electric lights, heaters and extra sockets.
Small oven with 2 Hobbs
Fridge
Kettle
Cafetière
Crockery
Cutlery
Glasses
Saucepans/Cooking utensils
Tea towels
Washing up liquid

Although the Yurts have all the same facilities, please see below for main features:

CRAB SHACK - Colourful and fun with a beach shack theme. This yurt has a four poster heated waterbed.

GENOA - Vintage nautical with a beautiful cast iron four poster bed.

DRAKE - A Pirates cabin! This has a luxurious Victorian super king size bed.

PEARL - Sail away! This yurt’s main bed is a classic wooden wayfarer boat.

There is an inside and outside dining area, including the use of a *BBQ and fire-pit. Fresh coffee, tea, sugar and milk are provided complimentary.

*please note, we do not provide BBQ charcoal/fire-pit wood.

The working Marina offers a real sense of community in a welcoming environment. Just a short walk away is the historic fishing town of Emsworth with a wide array of restaurants, pubs and cafes.

SHOWER AND TOILETS

The shower/toilet unit is just a minutes walk from the site located in the marina, we do also have a small cabin housing a ‘portaloo’ on the yurt site for those necessary night time visits! There is a washing up area on site and in the marina. PLEASE NOTE - we do not provide towels.

HEATING

The Yurts have two types of heating, one that is running all the time (electric) and an extra one that is gas (wood burner effect) for extra back. The main bed has an heated electric under blanket. The yurts are insulated with a thick layer of wool and hemp between the outer canvas and silk lining.

The Yurts are just a minutes walk from the sea and coastal walk to Thorney Island, great for dog walking. There is a cafe/restaurant on site and within just ten minutes you can be in the Emsworth Town centre where there is an abundance of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Free parking throughout your stay means you can make the most of the area before and after check in/out.
