Toast marshmallows on the campfire, play board games, feed the log burner, chat round the kitchen table. The Meon Valley Trail runs through the farm and provides a great place for level cycling and gentle walks. Enjoy the views from the private tracks round our fields and watch the hares, buzzards or kites. The rope swing is a firm favourite with children.
Each tent is as well equipped and furnished as a cottage. You will find everything you need in it, with wood and kindling provided as well as kitchen basics. The BBQ and firepit are close by, with a picnic table for easy outside eating. The bathroom cabin is spacious and cosy, with a great shower and eco-toiletries provided along with fluffy towels.
We aim to make our tents as eco-friendly as possible. The solar panel provides power for a small fridge and fairy lights. Extra paraffin lamps add atmosphere and cosiness in the evenings. As much as possible is recycled and we use environmentally friendly toiletries and cleaning products. Our sophisticated compost loos are so clever, they feel (and smell!) like normal toilets. The wood, kindling and BBQ charcoal are all sourced locally. The tents are in a conservation meadow.
We aim to provide all that you need apart from your clothing - layers are a good idea - and food. (You can also order freshly cooked meals from our website if you fancy a break from cooking). Although we provide a wind-up torch for each bedroom you may like to bring your own.
The owner does not have a video of their glamping site.
Relaxing on the tent decking while drinking in the view is difficult to tear yourself away from. However it is also worth walking through the farm to the village (and great pub) or up to the South Downs Way and a hike to The Shoe at Exton, exploring the Iron Age fort on Old Winchester Hill en route. Many attractions are within 40 minutes drive.
Usual booking periods are 2/3 night weekend and 4 night midweek. Shorter breaks are possible in low season. If in doubt please contact us.
As we know your plans sometimes have to change we will refund your full payment provided you cancel at least 60 days before you are due to arrive. After that we will try and re-book the period and will refund you if we are successful.
