Fully made up bedsteads with all feather duvets and cotton linen. Wood floors. Antique textiles mixed with kelims. Each safari kitchen has utensils, cutlery, crockery, cast iron cookware, bbq, gas hob, camp fire area with campfire wood provided, wood burner with chopped wood provided, long drop privies, open air hot showers, one bathtub in Willow Yurt, Chestnut Yurt has a hammock between two giant chestnut trees. Rope swing over river, zip wire on yurt site, endless places to explore.

Our long drop privies are very rustic but comfortable with oak seats. We provide sawdust. We also put the cold ash from your wood burner down the privies as it keeps the compost fresh. We don't have any plastic on site apart from the trugs for recycling and the plastic bin liners.

If you're using the single beds you'll need to bring sleeping bags. But all the iron double beds are fully made up. We provided spare woollen blankets in the blanket boxes at the foot of the bed.

Bushcraft sessions with our instructors on outdoor bread baking, ponassing fish, fire starting, shelter building, spoon carving. Also separate bird guide for spring visits. Onsite advanced fly fishing tuition, Field Butchery workshops and Wild Food Workshops. Woodland floristy. All can be arranged

Notes about prices

Our arrival days are Monday Wednesday or Friday/Saturday. We have a strict two-night minimum and at the weekends you get the third night free so can stay all of Sunday and Sunday night.

Cancellation policy

Bookings are non-refundable and we suggest checking you have travel insurance for short break/staycations. Having said that, there are instances where cancellations happen and we would never charge twice for the same space. If it was rebooked we would refund you 80%. If bookings are more than ten weeks away we can take a 25% deposit.
