About Resilient Woodlands Retreat

Two luxury eco-glamping cabins, located in the magical Forest of Dean sandwiched between the rivers Wye and Sever.

Designed as a place to unwind, destress and reconnect with nature in a sustainable way, Resilient Woodlands Retreat lies in a stunning position in the Forest of Dean with panoramic views of the Severn Estuary.

The two bespoke cabins on offer here are situated on the edge of a coppice woodland that is full of wildlife such as bird of prey, deer, rabbits and owls.

Both cabins are the same in size and facilities they both offer their own quirks and unique details which makes a stay in either cabin a totally new experience.

Designed to provide as much luxury and comfort as possible, each cabin can sleep up to four guests, on a sumptuous kingsize bed and a cosy double futon.

After a day enjoying the local area and all of the amazing things it has to offer, you can come home and prepare a meal in the fully fitted kitchen, this features an induction hob, combi oven with microwave and a full-size fridge.

The luxury doesn't stop with the kitchen, you'll be able to enjoy the ensuite wetroom, this includes a 'proper' toilet, full-size shower unit, and eco-friendly toiletries provided.

Both cabins also boast underfloor heating throughout and a 'hobbit' woodburning stove in the living area to make sure that you a warm and cosy no matter the weather outside.

Coppice cabin is also equipped to welcome your four-legged friend as well, with food and water bowls, a luxury dog bed and outdoor dog washing facilities provided. So you can go on as many muddy walks as you like!

If the weather is too miserable to head out into the wilderness then both cabins support a large covered deck area with furniture and warm blankets provided, this allows you to curl up with a warm drink and soak in the view and the sounds of nature around you.

We have onsite parking inside our electric gates and covered by CCTV to make sure that your cars are safe and sound while you enjoy a stay with us. Both cabins have small private gardens in their curtilage for you to layout on or enjoy a picnic and a large wildflower meadow for you to explore.

All of the facilities in both cabins are of the highest quality and finish, the kitchen is fully equipped with a combi oven, plumbed in 0sink and full-size fridge. The bathroom is also fully equipped with a full-size shower 'normal' toilet (with an eco-trench arch system). We offer a premium weber master touch and a bag of our handmade charcoal to guests as an optional extra.

Both cabins have been built to the highest energy standards with extra insulation and the most efficient heating systems we could install. We also used local materials wherever we could to reduce transportation emissions as much as possible. We came up with an innovative solution for the wastewater on both cabins as we wanted to achieve the comfort of a traditional toilet and shower but with the sustainability of a compost loo. We managed this by installing a trench arch waste system.

Notes about prices

Monday night to Thursday night we charge £145/night with a minimum 2-night stay. Friday night to Sunday Night we charge £165/night with a minimum 3-night stay.
