Description of Wimbles Farm

A very spacious quiet family campsite/glamping site with 6 pitches in 20 acres of meadows, giving lots of privacy and fun.

Positioned in the High Weald AONB we are close to the sea and South Downs with the amazing traffic free Cuckoo trail cycle path just a mile away.

Brighton, Hastings and Lewes provide days out as do the several castles and National Trusts that surround us.

We can offer cycle hire, fishing experience or even pottery throwing on a kick wheel, if you are looking for new experiences.

The Shepherds hut is ideal for families and comes fully equipped with cooker, stove, double and bunk beds, internal shower and outside eco loo.

Outside there is a firepit BBQ picnic table, bistro table and sun chairs.

The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and food basics. A fresh welcome pack can be purchased.

The Higler hut is for adults only and has a French double bed, Chilly Billy stove, comfy seats and simple kitchenette.

Outside there is a gas BBQ, fire pit and grid, picnic bench, sun chairs. There is a kitchen area, outside hot shower and eco toilet.

The hut is lined with cedar wood with its sweet perfume and has an eclectic upcycled interior which will amuse you.

Our tiny, quiet, seasonal camp site is ideal for families and family groups who want space to be by themselves, relax and enjoy the unique setting of our 20 acres of natural flower meadows and a small stream, which provides hours of fun for all ages.

We are different in that our pitches are mown weekly, each has their own clean eco toilet or toilets, a picnic bench and table, fire pit and cooking grid. Either solar or fire, heats hot water for an efficient and unusual shower for campers. Sustainably coppiced wood for your fire can be purchased, to make a perfect evening under the stars. We have 4 different size secluded eco camping areas, and 1 for small campervans.

The huts both have big cool boxes with ice packs, if you bring a lot of food you may need to bring extra ice.

You are off grid but the huts are all lit with a 12 volt system, you might want a battery boost if you love your phone!
