About Laverstock Farm

Herdwick and Everdene Huts are newly built, yet traditional style Shepherds Huts constructed by Plankbridge and finished to a high standard.

A rural location with far reaching views across the countryside set next to permanent pasture/grassland grazed by cows.

Extensive access to the farm via numerous footpaths and located between Pilsdon Pen and Lewesdon Hill (the highest hills in Dorset).

Ideal for those you wish to relax, enjoy the peace or wish to explore.

The Huts are painted in Farrow and Ball colours and fitted out with a small wood-burner, fold away table, two stools, two windows with shutters, a kitchen unit and a comfy double bed.

As well as two shepherds huts, Laverstock Farm has 6 self catering cottages from 1 bedroom to 4 bedrooms for larger groups.

At Laverstock we have a games room available for guests with table tennis, table football and darts. This is a communal facility but strictly available at restricted times.

There is a washing machine available for guests’ use in the washroom, that also has sockets for recharging lanterns and a fridge to use.

The nearest shop is a 10 minute drive.

The nearest Pub that does food is only a 5 minute drive.

Wellington boots can come in very handy if there's been a lot of rain!

At Laverstock we have a games room available for guests with table tennis and darts. This is a communal facility but strictly available at restricted times. Beautiful walks from the doorstep. There is a washing machine available for guests’ use in the washroom, with a hot shower (shared between both huts) WC, and fridge.

Both huts have no electricity and no running water. It is a short walk to the Washroom where there is a hot shower, WC etc.

Wellies are very useful when the weather is wet! We provide all bedding and towels and there are rechargeable lanterns for the hut guests to use.
