About Dorset Country Glamping

A wide variety of Glamping on our families traditional holiday park in rural Dorset. Perfect for family get togethers and romantic breaks for couples.

We specialize in luxury glamping breaks for families, couples and family groups on our family-run holiday park located in the heart of Thomas Hardy's Dorset countryside.

We've been providing a warm family welcome to glamping holiday guests for over a decade & have been providing holidays for families and couples for over half a century.

We have a range of glamping accommodation from Bell Tents, Yurts, Dome and even our Country Kabin.

All our glamping accommodation is nestled together in the same area making it perfect for family groups but still providing seclusion for couples.

Our accommodation comes with a double bed and 2 single futon sofa beds so we can accommodate families or a unit is like a hotel suite for a couple. Each glamping unit has all the essential items you need including cool box, food storage box, hamper with cutlery and crockery, essential cooking items (saucepan, frying pan, whistle kettle etc), washing up items, light and sockets. Outside there is a picnic bench, petite barbecue, fire pit and a two burner gas hob with grill.

Our Yurts, Dome and Country Kabin also have TV's and DVDs. Our Dome and Kabin include Nesspresso Coffee machines and our Kabin even has a separate lounge and bedroom.

Our families holiday park has a petite fishing lake in our 20 acre Lakefield, a shop with fresh milk, eggs etc and even a health club where guests can have a day membership to the gym. We also have a visiting massage therapist who can provide treatments in your accommodation & a clay shooting instructor that you can visit for this activity. There are even a number of local take-aways that will deliver to the site if you don't wish to cook!

With beautiful peach sunsets over our lake its no surprise we have hosted inter-generational family birthday parties & even 4 proposals by our lake.

We understand that Glamping comprises of two words Glamorous and Camping as such we have invested heavily in the facilities available on the glamping site. The glamping site ablutions block not only has the facilities you'd expect but privacy is paramount with individual hand basins in each toilet cubicle as well as vanity style wash basins. Each individual shower has a glass screen, dry area and seat. Our fishing lake is stocked with roach, tench and carp. Our health club is available for
