Welcome to Koa Tree Camp, a glamping site with a taste for adventure.

Nestled among North Devon farmland, with the coastline within striking distance, we’re the perfect place for exploring Devon and Cornwall.

Our 30-acre farm has geodesic domes and rustic wooden cabins, along with generous kitchen space, bathrooms, rainy day/games room and a range of activities on site.

We do delicious breakfasts, and our pizza nights by the campfire are always popular. All our food features locally sourced, seasonal, organic produce.

At Koa we’re into home comforts in a relaxed environment.

We love the feeling of being closer to nature that comes with camping, but we also enjoy comfy beds, good linen and plenty of hot water – all of which you’ll find.

Our domes and cabins are all styled and equipped in their own unique fashion with private decks and barbeques.

Each dome sleeps up to six and the cabins sleep four.

We have surf equipment for hire on the site, and in the summer we run our own surf school, so you can head to the beach fully kitted out. We also have a yoga space onsite for you to find some inner peace, and a massage hut, if relaxation is your thing.

There’s plenty of space for a kickabout, volleyball or cricket too.

If it’s raining, we can pop a film on for kids in our fairy lit yurt cinema, where they can bed down on beanbags.

We have a cafe, which doubles as a reception onsite, serving locally roasted coffee, organic tea and delicious breakfasts. There's plenty of parking, and a large mowed area for playing games and spot. The Welcombe Community Shop is on our site, and there's Wifi here too - although this is Devon, and it can be rather slow...

We like to tread lightly on our precious environment at Koa Tree Camp. Our hot water is heated by an eco-friendly wood-fired boiler, and our loos flush via a grey water recycling system. Nothing goes to waste - along with our recycling systems, we'll give your food scraps to our pigs, and compost what they won't want. We only use gentle cleaning products, and we're always looking for new ways to lessen our impact on the environment.

Linen packages are available separately at £30 for a cabin and £40 of a dome, but you're welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Bedding is provided either way. Our kitchen is well stocked with crockery, cutlery and utensils. Wellies are a must, we are on a farm after all!

We have yoga classes onsite, and our lovely massage hut. And in the summer we run our own surf school down at nearby Sandymouth beach. We're super close to the coast, so you can easily pick up the coast path for hikes, and local activities include horse riding, paddle boarding, coasteering, cycling and fishing. Ask us, and we can point you in the right direction.

Geodomes: £105/night low season. £135/night high season. ​ Cabins: £90/night low season. £115/night high season. ​ We offer 3, 4 or 7 night stays. Changeover days are Mondays and Fridays, so your stay with us should start on one of these days. ​ 3 night stays from Fridays, and 4 night stays from Mondays. A week from either day.​
