Holly Water Holidays, a glamping escape in glorious Mid-Devon. A place for peace, quiet, wood-fired hot tubs, Shepherd’s Huts and our very own Treehouse cabin. A slice of Heaven. Minimum 2 night stay.

Our Shepherd huts (sleeping 2) and treehouse (sleeping 4 in 2 kingsize bedrooms) are positioned in the most beautiful location in rural mid Devon.

They provide the perfect romantic retreat and an escape from the demands of everyday life – somewhere to enjoy life’s small and simple pleasures while you recharge your batteries with your loved ones.

Our power supply is entirely solar and propane gas and we are run on an totally ‘off-grid’ system. With this you can be as cosy and comfortable as you could ever wish for.

You have your own private kitchen facilities, lovely shower and toilet room, hand-built king size beds with lovely comfy mattresses and a beautiful wood burner for those cosy, relaxed evenings.

Alternatively you might prefer to spend your evening outside enjoying a barbecue on your fire-pit or chilling in our wonderfully crafted wood-fired hot tubs. We also have a wood-fired sauna on site available to book.

Explore all that the beautiful county of Devon has to offer or simply soak up the scenery, peace and quiet and enjoy the local wildlife. The choice is yours.

All accommodation has its own private wood-fired hot tub. We have a range of our own home produced meat and eggs available. Enjoy the freedom to explore our sheep fields, picnic by the Holly Water river, rest in the hammock or cacoon seat or use the swing in an old Oak tree. You might enjoy some time in our wildlife hide on the river bank or choose to book a session in our beautiful sauna for a bit of a spa experience. There are also many local footpaths. OS maps provided in the huts.

We are entirely off-grid and work hard to be eco-friendly. We have made a point of showing that off-grid can also be perfectly comfortable with full flushing toilets, showers and kitchens. We are proud to have achieved our Gold award from Green Tourism UK and are always looking to improve. We also work hard to make the land as wildlife friendly as possible and to plant supporting our pollinators.

We aim to make it as easy as possible for our guests and provide all of the essentials. If you plan to explore the area you might want wellies and/or walking boots and weather appropriate clothes but hopefully we have most other things covered. All you need to do is think about your preferred eating choices during your stay - although we also provide a list of nice places that will feed you!
