About Beara Lodge Glamping

Two safari tents each sleeping up to six people, fully plumbed bathroom,all set in a five acre paddock surrounded by private woodland.

Beara Lodge Glamping is a brand new family run venture situated in North Devon, close to the Cornish border.
We have two brand new luxury safari tents that can be rented together or separately.
Each tent sleeps six in proper beds, with all linen provided in three separate bedrooms and a fully plumbed bathroom, with towels provided.
A gas barbecue and other basic cooking facilities are provided. There is also a comfortable seating area with games and books provided for long lazy evenings in front of the wood burner.
Outside are two separate seating areas, one for alfresco dining with wonderful views, the other has comfortable seating to relax and unwind after a long busy day.
The tents are set in a five acre paddock, surrounded by private woodland, just waiting to be explored.
We are dog and child friendly, there are no vehicles allowed on site, cars are parked in a private car park, an easy two minute wander through the woods away from the tents. We provide a trolley for you to transport your luggage down to the site.
We are twenty minutes drive from the coast at Bude and in the opposite direction a twenty minute drive from Okehampton, the gateway to Dartmoor.

Set in a five acre paddock, perfect for running wether on four legs or two! Wonderful views from the elevated decks over the valley. Surrounded by five acres of private woodland, perfect for exploring and collecting kindling for your fire pit. Outdoor games are provided. Private car parking is available just a two minute easy wander through the woods to the tent.

Each safari tent is completely self contained with its own private bathroom within the tent. A barbecue and fire pit are provided to take full advantage of the outdoor lifestyle.

Please be aware that we are a working small holding and not a manicured campsite. Please bring sensible walking shoes and maybe even wellies just in case. We would prefer that you wear indoor shoes inside the tents and wipe dogs paws! Provisions are provided for a cup of tea when you arrive and there is an amazing sausage shop in the village where you can purchase something to throw on the barbie.

Close to the coast at Bude with the opportunity to learn how to surf or just take a leisurely stroll along the costal path, stopping at Widemouth bay for ice cream. Dartmoor is a twenty minute drive away, with the option for serious hiking up the many tors or a stroll around Wistmans wood before stopping at the Two Bridges pub for a fabulous cream tea.
