Children are allowed to explore, build dens and get muddy in the forest. There is a very small stream to make dams and catch minnows. The slide and wooden tractor, great with the little ones. The luxury tents are very spacious, a living area with comfy sofa, dining area perfect for late night family board games under candlelight. Your own private bathroom with a hot running shower. A fantastic wood burning stove for all your cooking needs, including toasting marshmallows.
2 of our 3 Luxury Tents have their own private wood fired hot tubs just outside. Our Farm Pantry stocks all of our the basics required, from local bacon to fire lighters. Each tent has their own outside fire pit which can be used for campfires and BBQs.
All the tents are off-grid, heating is wood fired, lighting is by candle light. Eco wood chest as a fridge. Power point to charge phones and use of hairdryer available in the farm pantry, which is run off solar panels.
Wellies are a must, especially on the farm tour. Waterproofs, this is England! Warm clothes, including a woolly hat. Head torches. Some groceries. And yourselves!

There are many footpaths to discover from your tent or try a stunning coastal path on The Jurassic Coast. Guests love our guided Farm Tour, offered once during your stay, you can even have a go at milking one of our dairy cows, usually followed by our pizza evening at the bread oven. Collect fresh eggs straight from the nest box or even have your own chickens outside your tent for you to look after.
