Description of Poplars Farm
Poplars Farm is a quiet, adults-only site with two glamping pods and room for 5 caravans/6 tents. Visitors love the far-reaching views.
The glamping pods have uninterrupted views over Alport Heights, giving visitors a true sense of calm and peace.
The site is open all year and the fully- insulated and heated pods can provide a window on the Derbyshire Dales through the changing seasons.
The site has shared facilities: three toilets, two showers and a kitchen area with washing machine and tumble drier. As the site is a small, exclusive one, facilities are never over-crowded.
Situated two miles from Carsington Water and five miles from Ashbourne and Belper towns and also being on a bus route, Poplars Farm is accessible to all.
The pods are within the ten acre site and the fields are not intensively farmed.
In Spring, you will see a wide variety of meadow flowers and wildlife abounds.
The views in snowy weather are similarly stunning.
Further afield, visit Kedleston Hall, Matlock Bath, Bakewell And Buxton. One visitor commented, “There is so much to do in the area.”
Alternatively, just sit and relax over a barbecue or around the fire pit.
