Hethersgill is 11 miles north of the great border city of Carlisle in an area of rolling countryside.
The village boasts a welcoming inn The Black Lion which is half a mile walk, also Skitby House restaurant, & The Robin Hood pub 3 miles away.
The location is ideal for cycling ( Reiver cycle route) and walking breaks.
It has its own terraced area, with table and chairs, private toilet-shower block.
There is a BBC area, with chiminea for outside warmth, also an under cover hot tub (extra fee) in which to relax under the stars.
The hut has an electric stove, open plan lounge kitchen bedroom, with TV , DVD, microwave, kettle, toaster, hob and fridge, cups, plates, and cutlery, a comfy double bed , with table and chairs.
For the ultimate glamping experience, the water is supplied from a standpipe tap just outside the hut. All electric and bed linen is included, private parking.
The shepherds hut has a small verandah to the front with decking overlooking the woodland.
