“A treehouse overlooking the River Esk and a woodland yurt both situated in secluded locations each with their own private hot tub.”

Description of Netherby Estate

The treehouse enjoys a secluded spot on the estate, with fields and parkland extending all around.

You will immediately appreciate the tranquil atmosphere, with little more than the burble of the river and the baa of nearby sheep to trouble you.

The open-plan interior packs in a wood-burner. A kitchen with modern oven and sink and all the and an ac choice of eating inside or out on the deck.

The treehouse can accommodate up to four guests. You have a double bed in the main living area, and a mezzanine level above has a further two single beds. it also has a bathroom with a shower and flushing loo.

The treehouse also has its own private hot tub and firepit outside.

The Netherby Yurt is hidden away in a woodland clearing on acres of land that’s yours to explore – the only other structure around is your private cabin (housing a modern kitchen and bathroom) a minute’s walk away, accessed along a path lit by solar lights at night.

The Yurt also has its own private hot tub and firepit.

From the yurt you can see up to the rolling hills of the Scottish Borders in one direction; the Lake District is in the other, and the Solway coast is close.

Not that you’ll need to go that far for beautiful scenery and walks: there are woodland trails across the Netherby Estate mapped out for you – have a little hunt for the swing bridge and original Border Reiver peel tower somewhere on the estate before a relaxing soak in the hot tub.
