Separated by trees and in opposite corners of a 3 acre meadow, Far Field Yurt and Green Bell Tent each have lots of space to rest or to play in peace and tranquility. Behind is a small native woodland and in front are superb views of the fields and fells (and some friendly sheep with a liking for custard creams... try not to spoil them!)
The Yurt and Bell Tent each have their own garden with campfire BBQ, picnic table, garden chairs, and lovely double hammock.
Tucked into the woodland behind, Yurt and Bell Tent each have a bijou private compost toilet.
Unlimited hot showers in individual bathrooms are available 24 hours on our little campsite.
Far Field Yurt
Sleeps up to 5. Beautifully furnished with vintage & handmade oak furniture. Fully insulated. Toasty 5kW wood burning stove. Thick wool carpet, comfy beds, solar lights, fairy lights & USB charger. Lovely tranquil atmosphere.
A well equipped private indoor camp kitchen with 2 ring gas cooker, cool box, and everything needed to cook proper meals for up to five people.
Green Bell tent
Cosily furnished for two, with rugs, tables, chairs. Comfy double bed. Camp kitchen with cooking equipment. Solar fairy lights & USB charger. Very peaceful and private.
If you don't feel like cooking, try our 2 (yes, two!) excellent village pubs, serving very good food and real ales just a pleasant 10 minute walk away.
Excellent access to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks - but none of the hustle and bustle. Great for walkers, the local area is beautiful, unspoiled and remarkably undiscovered. Our complimentary booklet ‘Nine Great Walks from Low Greenside’ will help you to explore the surrounding countryside on foot from your doorstep.

Trees, flowers, grass, sheep, birds, hedgehogs, red squirrels... Absolutely no hot tubs or wifi - a recent guest, age 12, told us what a good thing this is and asked us not to change it. (Good lass!) However, we do have a good 4G signal and free wi-fi is available at both village pubs. No onsite bar - 2 great village pubs serving excellent food & real ales. 10 minutes walk. No onsite shop or cafe - nearby Kirkby Stephen has all you're likely to need. So peaceful!
Campfire BBQs have an adjustable tripod grill. Yurt kitchen hut is equipped to cook a feast. Bell tent camp kitchen has all you need for a great fry-up or simple meal. Free hot showers in proper bathrooms are available across the field at our little campsite, 24 hrs. We've included lots of little features and extras to make our glamping more fun, eco friendly, and super comfy. Please see the 'What's included' page on our website. You really won't need to bring much.

Double beds in the Yurt and the Bell Tent fully made up with warm duvets. Yurt only:- The two single beds have pillows, pillow cases and bottom sheets but you'll need to bring a duvet or sleeping bag. If you are also using the pop up bed we recommend a sleeping bag (pillow provided). A travel cot is available on request.

We can adapt the yurt so that it is accessible to active wheelchair users. Please advise on booking.
