4 Beautiful Yurts & a converted Barn with Hot Tub, Pizza Oven and Large Rustic Barn, suitable for couples, family holidays or Special Events. Children can feed animals every morning and collect eggs.
Situated in a tranquil valley just over a mile from the South Coast Path and stunning beaches and hidden Coves. It is a wonderful place to get back to nature.
Our 4 beautiful yurts are well spaced apart with brass and iron beds, and a wood burning stove to keep you cosy at night.
The Long Barn has been beautifully converted to provide spacious accommodation sleeping up to 8 people.
The large open plan living space and bespoke kitchen, with a large gable window, looks out over its own patio and meadow beyond.
Relax in our woodfired hot tub under the moonlight, or toast marshmallows under the stars at night.
If you are staying for a week join in our Pizza night and cook gourmet Pizzas in our wood fired pizza oven.
We do also have well equipped "eat in" kitchens which are well equipped to cook simple camp style meals and modern bathrooms with proper flushing loos and electric showers.
Our large rustic play barn is a great space if the weather should be inclement with badminton, table tennis and volley ball
We aim to offer much more than just a yurt in a field and aim to make your stay really special. Equally we try not to be obtrusive and always respect your privacy.
We try to greet you with tea and home made cake on arrival and give you some local knowledge and tips, we can point you towards our secret wild swimming spots or romantic picnic places as well as favourite cafes and restaurants.
Children are welcome to help us feed the animals in the mornings and collect fresh eggs for their breakfast. In the Spring they can help bottle feed lambs or groom Rosie our Pet Pig.
Tremeer is a wonderful place for groups as if you rent our 4 yurts and Long Barn you will have exclusive use of our site. Our large rustic wood and slate barn is a blank canvas and a wonderful space for groups.
We have enjoyed hosting some very special significant birthdays, yoga retreats, gentle hens & do host a very small number of Weddings.
We are a very tranquil site offering the chance to get back to nature but do have Wifi and mobile phone signal. Our woodfired hot tub and wood fired pizza ovens have been a big hit. Each yurt has its own firepit so you can toast marshmallows under the stars at night or if you are feeling adventurous cook over an open fire. (We do also have well equipped camping kitchens). We aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible and encourage recycling and upcycling. We are not certified as being organic but try to live by organic principles whenever possible. We are surrounded by organic fields and small woodlands and Cornish hedge rows full of wild flowers..stunning.
Our aim is to provide all you should need for your stay except for towels, food and a sense of adventure. We do suggest that you bring wellies, additional torches are always useful and a campfire blanket is a lovely addition for around the campfire at night. We provide, linen, duvets, blankets etc but if the weather is exceptionally cold you may wish to bring a sleeping bag, particularly for young children if they are likely to throw their covers off at night.

Lots of activities available within easy reach which we will be happy to help you to arrange. Stunning walks and hidden beaches and coves within easy reach. Canoeing, paddle boarding and watersports on the River Fowey We always try to arrange some spontaneous craft activity during school holidays. Children are welcome to help us feed the animals and collect fresh eggs in the mornings. Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and the National Trust's Landhydrock are all within easy reach

Unfortunately we cannot refund monies once a booking has been made unless we are able to re-book the yurt, in which case we will retain £100 per yurt and 20% of the tariff per yurt or Long Barn. We therefore recommend that you consider taking out cancellation insurance.

Our 4 Yurts are very well spaced apart giving each Yurt its sense of privacy

The Play Barn is a great place for kids to hang out and also for special events

We involve guests in animal feeding every morning at 9:00am
Feeding our chickens and picking up eggs is always a treat.

We can accommodate up to 30 guests on our site. Five in each of our Yurts, eight in our Long Barn and two in our Bell Tent. Our Yurts are very well spread apart so we can accommodate small groups and romantic couples at the same time. We often have special occasions celebrated here at Tremeer.
