Woodland Tipi & Yurt Holidays offer a beautiful, rustic and luxurious camping experience in a simple and authentic way.
Set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of Herefordshire with our tipis and yurts situated with their own private space within 12 acres of magical woodland.
The site is peaceful, offering much freedom for children to make dens, climb trees, and enjoy campfire treats while the adults can kick back knowing their children are safe and happy whilst enjoying the more luxurious elements of the site.
We pride ourselves in our first rate facilities on site.
There are two kitchen and bathroom spaces. The first at the Southern end of the site for the use of three yurts and one tipi. And the other at the Northern end of the site for the 3 tipis and Woodpecker Yurt.
This arrangement not only allows our guests with much space but also allows the popular idea of a group of families renting that section of the site, giving them their own private eating area, kitchen, fridges, showers, rolltop bath, and earth-fired pizza oven.
We also provide linen on request to make things even easier.
Woodland Tipi & Yurt Holidays is situated 6 miles from Hereford and 6 miles from the lovely market town of Ross-on-Wye.
The River Wye is just a miles walk away perfect for summer picnics, walking and canoeing. The Malvern Hills are short drive away.
There are many castles to explore in the area too. The Forest of Dean offers Go Ape experience, lakes, bike trails and llama trekking.
Herefordshire is also famous for its cider making. Visit Westons Cider in Much Marcle for the full experience of the process and tasting!
We also have a lovely organic farm, Whitethorn Farm/Carrey Organics just over a mile away where you may pat the pigs and buy very local cider and super fresh organic fruit, veg and meat.
